Three letters written in 1916 by Trooper Reg Melville of the 5th Light Horse Brigade, to his sister Olive Jones. Also mss "Weary of the battle" (probably the Babble of Beersheba, - March 1917) (6 p.) and a poem entitled. "The pioneers" dedicated to the 2/1st Pioneers (n.d.). Added 16.1.1978 Page 1 of one of the above letters (dated 11/11/1916) plus two pages of another letter and its accompanying Active Service envelope.
